Hello. My name is Lou Umberto. I grew up in Providence Rhode Island. When I was 13 years old, I learned to work the old brick ovens in the Italian bakeries of the Silver Lake area of Providence. Now, 35 years later, I have my own backyard brick oven -- but this is to enjoy with family and friends. A friend, Robert Downing, who I grew up with, actually built my oven.
